SIX SIGMA, a leading provider of lead finish, BGA reballing, and column attach
services for the electronics industry, announced today that it has been awarded
DSCC commercial laboratory suitability status for it’s 24,000 square foot facility
located at 905 Montague Expressway, Milpitas, CA. Six Sigma’s multi-million dollar
custom-designed facility is equipped to perform MIL-STD-883 tests on monolithic
microcircuits in accordance with the requirements of military specification MIL-PRF-38535.
Six Sigma’s facility, is strategically located in the heart of the fast-paced,
cutting-edge Silicon Valley. “Ownership of our facility insures a permanent presence
in which to service our customers and remain on the cutting edge of technology”,
stated Six Sigma’s president, Russ Winslow.
SIX SIGMA began operations in 1990 providing hot solder lead finish services
and related testing for the semiconductor and printed circuit board industries.
Today, Six Sigma has expanded its services to include solder column attach, BGA
ball attach, and BGA reballing services. Components processed by SIX SIGMA are in
